Parkour & Free Running Training

School Workshops

Our incursion workshops are 30 minute programs where students will rotate through three circuits that collaborate climbing, jumping, landing and rolling and are designed to teach an underlying skill. The underlying skills we aim to improve are; safe landing techniques, safe climbing techniques and how to jump correctly. Through fun and engaging exercises, we reach great results, which in turn, help with the safety of students climbing at school or at home on the playground.

How it works:

Our incursions start with a 15 minute performance to all students during morning assembly which demonstrates professional level flips and tricks from the coaches as well as a short talk about what parkour and freerunning is.

After this we begin our workshops and we can run back to back 30 minute slots for the duration of your school day until roughly 2:00pm, breaking at recess and lunch.

This usually works out around 8 classes in the day and can take up to 30 in a class (240 students in total).

“It was the most awesome, engaging thing we have organised for our school! The kids loved it and still talk about it weeks later. It was non-stop so no time for kids to be hanging around waiting. Highly Recommend!!” – Burekup Primary school.

Cost:

As we know there can be small budgets in some schools we try to keep our costs down. Below are three options for you to consider:

Option 1: Cost= FREE
  • Performance only with talk from our coaches.
  • Includes display and equipment brought to your school.
Option 2: Cost= $500 +GST
  • Includes the performance and one days worth of workshops.
Option 3: Cost $800 +GST
This includes two performances and two days worth of workshops on separate days in the term. (Works well if you have more than 240 students or just if you want two days of exercises)

Yes. But it costs a little more.  Our programs run for a school term, however, the price you pay during online registration is automatically discounted on a weekly basis to allow for this.

Yes. Our programs run for approximately 10 weeks however the price you pay during online registration is automatically reduced on a weekly basis to allow for this.

Possibly – but only subject to availability and Manager discretion. Places are very limited and must be kept open for other students. Changing days anytime during the term creates administrative, scheduling and online store problems so please choose your child’s days of attendance carefully to avoid this.

NO, Students that miss their class due to illness (short term) or any other sport/family commitments etc can not attend other classes as this can put a class over capacity and/or take up the place of a paying casual patron. See a Manager if you are unclear.

If your child is within a few months of a particular age bracket we will first trial them in the lower age group to assess their capability and ability to follow directions. Once we have assessed your child our coaches will make a decision on whether to move them up or down.

Students are moved up based on their ability to perform maneuvers and take direction. Moving a child up before they have met these criteria poses a high risk of injury and will not be done.

In the event of an injury/illness where a student is unable to attend classes, a doctors certificate must be produced with a minimum of 6 weeks absence, it is only under these circumstances the remaining membership can be credit towards the following term. Public holidays will be deducted off memberships automatically.  Classes are non transferable.

Students will need to bring a water bottle, wear comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes (runners/joggers are best), as well as Gravity Grip Sox.  Thongs sandals and bare feet are not permitted.
